# Does Forecast Follow always automatically update new analysis on my chart?

**How long are the ForecastFollow software forecasts valid? Do they update as the market changes?**

Yes, this is one of the most important and powerful features of our software. The forecasts are **not static;** they are **dynamic** and update automatically as market conditions change.
You are always looking at a "live roadmap" that the 4CastMachine AI adjusts based on the latest price information.

#### **How the Automatic Updates Work**

1. **Constant Connection:** Your ForecastFollow software is in constant communication with the 4CastMachine AI servers.
2. **Live Re-Analysis:** As new candles form and the market moves, the AI continuously re-analyzes the market structure.
3. **Automatic Refresh:** If the new price action causes the AI to change its analysis (e.g., a support level breaks unexpectedly), the software will **automatically delete the old forecast** from your chart and **draw the new, updated forecast path.**
You do not need to do anything (like refresh or reload). The software handles it all automatically in real-time.

#### **How Long a Forecast is "Valid"**

The validity of a forecast path depends on its timeframe:
* Shorter Timeframes (M5, M15, M30):
These are for scalping and intraday trading. These forecasts update very frequently. A forecast path might be valid for the next 30 minutes to a few hours. If the market changes suddenly, a new path will be drawn.
* Intraday Timeframes (H1, H4):
These guide your main intraday bias. They are more stable and might remain valid for an entire trading session, but they will still update if a major, unexpected move occurs.
* Higher Timeframes (Daily / Weekly):
These are strategic forecasts showing the main "highway." They are valid for days or weeks, respectively.
